Crime Stoppers of Morgan and Scott Counties is seeking information to assist the Jacksonville Police Department with their investigation into a recent burglary.

On Friday, April 18th, 2008, at 6:40AM, a burglary was discovered at Jacksonville Packaging, located in the 200 Block of East Douglas.  Unknown person(s) attempted to gain entry to the building through an air vent on the roof.  Although ceiling tiles inside the building were damaged, it is not believed that entry was gained to the building. An employee also discovered a window broken on a truck owned by the company.  Also, the wiring on the vehicle was damaged, and a light 12 volt light was removed from it.

The police are asking that anyone who has information concerning this or any other crime within the two county area call Crime Stoppers at 243-7300.

A cash reward of up to $1000 will be paid for information leading to an arrest.
